My father gave me your Bach cello recording for Christmas and thus gave me a way to gain unexpected new knowledge of those pieces that I'd thought I knew before.
It is not so much that absolutely immacculate, effortless way you play the lightest of gracenotes that makes me want to shut down every sense but the hearing, than the modesty and humor that reverberate through all of it. Thank you for doing that to Bach, thanks a lot! All the best, Vanessa |
